1 week before

Moving day

  • Do a final walkthrough of every room, closet, and cabinet before leaving
  • Check attic, garage, and outdoor storage areas

After the move

  • Inspect your items as they are unloaded and note any concerns

  • Test all appliances, outlets, and utilities
  • Update your address with DMV, voter registration, and financial accounts
